Using Rhapsody

Now you can hear more music in more rooms with Sonos and Rhapsody™, the #1 rated
digital music service. Sonos connects directly to Rhapsody via the Web, so you don't
have to download an application or even turn your PC on.
Your Sonos system comes with a free 30-day Rhapsody trial. Rhapsody subscribers can
simply click the Music Services tab in the Music Library to browse and select
Rhapsody content.
Configuring Rhapsody
Creating a free Rhapsody trial account
Your Sonos system comes with a free Rhapsody trial—no signup, no credit card
necessary. If you did not activate a free Rhapsody trial account while setting up your
Sonos Digital Music System, you can do it now. (Rhapsody may not be available in your
country. If the Rhapsody trial does not appear as an option, please click the Get Music
button for more details.)
1. Select File>Preferences.
2. From the Accounts tab, select Add.
3. Select Rhapsody Trial from the list of Account types.
4. A username and password will be automatically assigned for you. Click OK.
Your free Rhapsody trial account will be valid for 30 days. After that, if you wish to
become a subscriber, go to www.sonos.com/rhapsody for additional information.
Once your Rhapsody account is set up, simply add the account information to Sonos in
order to access Rhapsody from your Sonos Digital Music System (see 'Adding your
Rhapsody account to Sonos'.)
Current Rhapsody users who have recently updated to Sonos 2.0
If you are an existing Rhapsody customer, prior to Sonos version 2.0 your computer
had to be on in order to access your Rhapsody content (the Rhapsody client on your
computer accessed the Rhapsody server via UPnP.)
To take advantage of accessing Rhapsody via the Web, simply add your Rhapsody
account to Sonos ('Adding your Rhapsody account to Sonos')
