the grill is in use - children should be kept away.
Your cooker is not fitted with a conventional type of
grill. The solarplus grill is designed to reduce your
grilling times. It is quicker because it takes less time
to warm up from cold. Conventional grills require
5 minutes pre-heat before food is placed beneath
them, but for normal grilling the solarplus grill can be
used from cold without any pre-heat. However, when
toasting, optimum performance is achieved by pre-
heating the grill for about 1 minute.
Notes
You will notice that the grill elements are protected by
a wire mesh.
This stops you from touching live parts.
DO NOT under any circumstances insert objects
into the grill mesh as this could damage or break
the element tubes OR if the grill is on cause an
electric shock.
During use the mesh may become soiled. Do not
attempt to clean it while the grill is still on. Turn the
cooker off at the control unit and wait until it has cooled
down before cleaning.
Care must be taken to ensure the grill mesh is not
