7. Operate broadcast
spraying system
A. Open broadcast nozzle shut off valve
Ensure power to the pump is off.
B. Ensure correct spray pattern
Rotate the broadcast nozzle, if needed, so that the spray pattern is pointed
down and evenly distributed.
Note: It is not unusual for
the operator to be exposed to
chemical drips while adjusting
the broadcast nozzle. Wear
chemical resistant gloves.
