IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) All Ravelle™ 30 fireplace vertically terminated vent installations use 6-
5/8" x 4" Security™ Secure Vent™ or Simpson Dura-Vent GS pipe.
2) If the vent passes through a ceiling or floor, a firestop - Security part
number SV4BF or Simpson part number 963 – is required.
3) If the vent passes through the roof, a roof flashing and storm collar
are required.
4) Allowable clearances from the vent pipe to combustible materials must
be maintained. See Page 6 for these clearances.
5) A maximum of either two 45-degree elbows or two 90-degree elbows
may be used. See Page 17 for allowable offsets.
6) The maximum system height is 30 feet (9.1M) and the minimum is
10 feet (3M).
Vertical Vent Termination Clearances
The vent / air intake termination clearances above the high side of an
angled roof is as shown in the Figure 17.
