Instant Support Enterprise Edition (ISEE)
HP Instant Support Enterprise Edition (ISEE) provides a single remote monitoring and support solution for
your IT data center. ISEE uses continuous hardware event monitoring and automated notification to
identify and prevent potential critical problems.
ISEE is a no charge feature of the EVA Foundation Service Solution warranty. Notification and status
information can be sent to a HP Service Center or provided for customer monitoring.
For more information or to download ISEE, visit
ISEE can be used to facilitate customer replacement of certain EVA replaceable units (RUs) . (See the
Warranty and Services Included with the Product section of this document for the RU list.) A failing or
failed device would be reported to HP Services via (ISEE)/Proactive Replacement Service (PRS). The
customer would be contacted and arrangement made to either utilize mandatory or optional customer self
repair or arrange for the repairs via warranty, CarePack, or time and materials as applicable.
Operator control panel (OCP) failure is the only device not addressed by ISEE. If, for example, the panel
display or a button appears broken, customers need to call HP to initiate repair.
Customer self repair instructions, in seven local languages, are available in the component spare kits
(RUs) and the business support center at www.hp.com. Video based instructions are available under
"Customer self repair steps" and printable replacement instructions are listed under "Manuals" at the
