Realtek LAN Driver Installation
Install the Realtek LAN Drivers under windows 98
1.
Move the mouse cursor to my computer i c on, then press mouse ri g ht button press properti e s.
2.
Open Device Manager.
3.
Under Network Adapters there wi l l be a yel l ow marker the first ti m e the operati n g system is i n stall e d.
4.
Sel e ct the "Dri v er" tab.
5.
Cl i c k on update Dri v er.
6.
The LAN Driver path i s i n SOYO CD "d:\dri v -al l \ Realtek8100b\Wi n 98". (where D :is your CDROM dri v e)
7.
You wi l l need windows 98 to compl e te the i n stal l a ti o n.
8.
After i n forming windows of the directory the dri v er wi l l be i n stall e d. Restart your system after instal l ati o n.
Install the Realtek LAN Drivers under windows NT4.0
1.
Doubl e cl i c k the Network i c on in the control panel . The Network properti e s windows wi l l appear. Cl i c k on the
Devices tab and press the Add button.

Sel e ct "Unl i s ted or Updated Dri v ers" from the li s t of dri v ers in the Add wi n dow by placi n g the mouse poi n ter over i t
and cl i c king the l e ft mouse button. Press the OK button.

The Instal l Dri v er dial o g box wi l l appear and request the path of the l o cation of the dri v ers to be i n stal l e d. Enter
"D:\dri v -al l \ Real t ek8100b\Wi n NT4". (where D :i s your CDROM dri v e)

After i n stall a tion, Windows NT wil l di s pl a y a dialog box aski n g you to restart your system.
Install the Realtek LAN Drivers under windows ME
(Because windows ME can detect LAN driver automatic, so this installation is for update
driver)
1.

Sel e ct the "Dri v er" tab.

(Because windows XP can detect LAN driver automatic, so this installation is for update
driver)
