SY-P4VDA Quick Start Guide
B. ATX Power Supply
This M/B can support ATX Power supply version 2.03 (with 12V power connector) and older ATX power
supply.
The ATX12V power supply includes a 20-pin A TX connector that complies with the A TX specification,
Version 2.03 for M/B specification, a new 4-pin receptacle/header combination--the +12V power
connector--has been defined. The presence of the +12V power connector indicates that a power supply is
ATX12V; the absence of the +12V power connector indicates that a supply is ATX. To allow for greater than
+3.3V current, the Aux power connector is recommended for A TX and A TX12V power supplies with
+3.3V current >18A.
If the user uses an old ATX power supply, please connect the main power connector and the peripherals
connector to the M/B.
If the user uses an ATX power supply version 2.03, please connect the main power connector and
12Vconnector to the M/B.
