TAKING CARE OF UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
ENGINE WILL NOT START
Possible Cause
Out of fuel.
Fuel hose not primed.
Fuel filter or fuel tank filter clogged.
Bad fuel; outboard motor stored without treating or
draining gasoline, or refueled with bad gasoline.

Squeeze priming bulb (p. 37).
Replace fuel filters (p. 71).
Drain fuel tank and vapor separator (p. 84 – 85).
Refill with fresh gasoline (p. 70).
