• When CPPM copy-protected DVD audio is played back, video
and audio signals may not be output. depending on the type of
DVD player being used.
• This unit is not compatible with non HDCP compliant HDMI or
DVI components.
• To decode bitstream audio signals on this unit, you may need to
change some settings on the source component.

• We recommend that you use a commercially available HOMI
cable shorter than 5 meters (16 feet) with the HOMI logo
printed on it.
• Use a conversion cable (HOMI jack

this unit to other OVI components.
• If you set "HOMI Standby Through" in "Option" to "HOMll",
"HOMI 2" or "HOMI 3", this unit allows the HOMI signals
input at the corresponding HOMI IN jack to pass through this
unit and be output from the HOMl OUT jack.
• 00 not disconnect or connect the cable or turn off the power of
the HOMI component connected to the HOMI OUT jack of this
unit while data is being transferred. Ooing so may disrupt
playback or cause noise.
• The HOMI OUT jack outputs the audio signals input at the

DVI connection, the connection may fail.
