Troubleshooting
Access error
This unit cannot access your USB storage
Try another USB storage device.

There is a problem with the signal path
from your USB storage device to this unit.
This unit cannot connect to the data server
due to network error, etc.
A USB storage device is properly
connected to this unit.
Tum off this unit and reconnect your USB storage device to
the USB pon of this unit.
Try resetting your USB storage device.
Check the network settings. then contact the network
connection provider.
If there is a transmission error but no status message appears on the GUI screen, check the connection of your iPod.

denied connection.
This unit cannot play back the songs
currently stored on your Pc.
The network may be overloaded with
heavy traffic. and playback is interrupted.
You are attempting to play back expired
digital rights management (DRM)
encrypted content.
Windows Media Player II does not
acquire the DRM license for the file.
This unit is in the process of recognizing
the connection with your iPod.
This unit is in the process of acquiring
song lists from your iPod.
There is a problem with the signal path
from your iPod to this unit.
The iPod being used is not supported by
this unit.
Connect the USB storage device securely.
Accept the YMC-700 on the "Media Sharing" screen
of Windows Media Player II.
Make sure Windows Media Player II is installed on
your Pc.
Check that the songs currently stored on your PC are
playable (MP3. WMA. MPEG-4 AAC. and WAY).
Store some other playable music files (MP3. WMA.
MPEG-4 AAC. and WAY) on your Pc.
Try preparing a network exclusively for use with this
unit to separate it from general network traffic.
Select a file that is not protected by DRM.
Acquire the license to play back the file on Windows
Media Player II .
Turn off this unit and reconnect the Yamaha iPod
universal dock to the DOCK terminal of this unit.
Try resetting your iPod.
This unit supports iPod touch. iPod (Click Wheel,
including iPod classic). iPod nano and iPod mini.

iPod Connected
Your iPod is properly stationed in a Yamaha
iPod universal dock (such as the YDS-II,
sold separately) connected
to
the DOCK
terminal of this unit, and the connection
between your iPod and this unit is complete.
iPod Disconnected
Your iPod was removed from a Yamaha
iPod universal dock (such as the YDS-II,
sold separately) connected to the DOCK
terminal of this unit.
Station your iPod back in a Yamaha iPod universal
dock (such as the YDS-II. sold separately) connected
to the DOCK terminal of this unit.
