Preparing Your Phone for DECT Networks

In order to benefit in the best way possible from the dual mode
functions, make sure the following items have been programmed into
your phone. This is usually done by a network administrator. If
necessary, you can program it yourself.
Programming the sequences below will make your telephone distinguish
internal calls from external ones automatically when you are making
calls.
In some cases, when a phone number could be external or internal, the
phone will ask you to confirm whether the number you wish to dial is
external or internal.

PBX Prefix

Note! The section below only applies if you are connected to a company
DECT network, not to a Home Base Station.
The PBX prefix is the first few digits, common to all phone numbers in
a company switchboard, for example. You have to enter this prefix in
order for your phone to recognise internal numbers stored in your phone
book, thus dialling internally instead of externally.
Select Own line from the

Scroll to DECT line, using the arrow keys, and press YES.
Scroll to your DECT network and press YES.
Scroll to PBX prefix and press YES.

DECT network, not to a Home Base Station.
