Clearing Snow
For best efficiency, clear snow before it melts, refreezes and hardens. Do
not reduce engine speed while clearing snow.
Operating tips for clearing hard or deep snow:

Reduce forward speed. If that is not sufficient, use the shift lever to
clear snow with a back and forth motion.

Clear a narrower swath. Make several passes with the auger overlapp-
ing the cleared areas.
l
If the snow is deeper than the height of the auger, remove it in several
steps, as shown below.
