SETTING UP AM AND FM OUTSIDE OF NORTH
AMERICA

In North America, the FM band begins at 87.5 MHz. In other parts
of the world, it may begin at 87 MHz or 76 MHz.
1. With the G6 turned off press the #4 numeric keypad button
for about 2 seconds. F87.5, F76 or F87 appears flashing in the
display.
2. Press the #4 numeric keypad button sequentially to select the one
that's correct for your area.
3. Immediately press the PAGEfTlME button.
In North America, AM stations are spaced by 10KHz. In Europe and
other areas, they are spaced by 9 KHz.
1. With the G6 turned off press the #5 numeric keypad button for
about 2 seconds. 9 or 10KHz appear flashing in the display.
2. Press the #5 numeric keypad button sequentially to select the one
that's correct for your area.
3. Immediately press the PAGEfTlME button.
USING THE SLEEP TIMER
The sleep timer enables the G6 to play for a specified number of
minutes (00-99), then shut off.
1. To activate the sleep-timer turn the radio on with a 2 second
press of the SLEEP button,

01-99 appears in the display.
2. Use the tuning knob to select the number of minutes, 01-99, you
want it to play, or select ON with the tuning knob if you don't
want to utilize the sleep timer.
