SERVICING YOUR OUTBOARD MOTOR

Lubrication Points

Apply marine waterproof grease to the following parts:
Lubrication interval:
20 operating hours or a month after the date of purchase
for initial, then every 100 operating hours or 6 months.
To prevent corrosion, apply anticorrosion oil to pivot
surf aces where grease cannot penetrate.
TILT SHAFT
Apply Honda Marine Corrosion Inhibitor (or equivalent) to all areas under the engine cover and any exposed metal
surfaces except the belts.
