• Fit the wheel bushings (barrel side first) into the center
hole in the wheel (see inset).
• Position the wheel between the shocks.
• Slide the front axle through a shock, a washer, the wheel
(with bushings), another washer and then out through the
other shock.

• Fit a cap nut on the end of the front axle.
• Support the opposite end of the front axle and tap the
cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the end of the
front axle. Pull on the cap nut to be sure it is secure
on the front axle.

Headlight Assembly
Tighten All Four Screws
• Turn the vehicle upright.
• Tighten all four screws in the headlight assembly
(assembled in Assembly Steps 7 and 8) with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

• Fit an exhaust cap to a saddlebag.
• Insert two screws through the inside of the saddlebag
and into the exhaust cap.
• Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• Repeat this procedure to assemble the remaining
exhaust cap to the other saddlebag.
