Pronto®Air Personal Transporter w/ MyBody™ Seating
WARNING!
– Personal Transporters should be examined
during maintenance for signs of corrosion (water
exposure, incontinence, etc.). If corrosion is
found, contact Invacare or your dealer. Electrical
components damaged by corrosion should be replaced
IMMEDIATELY.
– Personal transporters that are used by incontinent
users and/or are frequently exposed to water may
require replacement of electrical components more
frequently.
– DO NOT overtighten hardware attaching to the
frame. This could cause damage to the frame tubing.
– Transport ready packages are not retrofittable to
existing models and are not field serviceable.
– Except for programming, DO NOT service or adjust
the personal transporter while occupied, unless
otherwise noted.
– Before adjusting, repairing or servicing the personal
transporter, always turn the personal transporter
power Off, otherwise, injury or damage may occur.

Use of incorrect or improper replacement (service)
parts may cause injury or damage.
– Replacement parts MUST match original Invacare parts
– Always provide the wheelchair serial number to assist
in ordering the correct replacement parts.

performed by users/caregivers or unqualified technicians
can result injury or damage.
– Users/Caregivers — DO NOT attempt to repair
and/or service this wheelchair.
– Repair and/or service of this wheelchair MUST be
performed by a qualified technician. Contact a dealer
or Invacare technician.
Rain Test
CAUTION!
Risk of damage
Operating the personal transporter in rain or dampness
will cause the personal transporter to malfunction
electrically and mechanically; may cause the personal
transporter to prematurely rust or may damage the
upholstery.
– DO NOT leave personal transporter in a rain storm
of any kind.
– DO NOT use personal transporter in a shower.
– DO NOT leave personal transporter in a damp area
for any length of time.
– Check to ensure that the battery covers are secured
in place, joystick boot is NOT torn or cracked where
water can enter and that all electrical connections are
secure at all times. DO NOT use if the joystick boot
is torn or cracked. If the joystick boot becomes torn
or cracked, replace IMMEDIATELY.
