larger the number, the more enhanced the
effect.
H OFF button
To power off; stop the source.
I SEEK +/– button
Radio:
To tune in stations automatically (press); find
a station manually (press and hold).
DAB:
To select a service (press); search for an
ensemble (press and hold).
CD:
To skip tracks (press); skip tracks
continuously (press, then press again within
about 1 second and hold); fast-forward/
reverse a track (press and hold).

To power on; change the source (Radio/
DAB/CD/AUX*

To select the radio band (FM/MW/LW);

(5): BBE MP 2
To activate the BBE MP function, set "BBE-
MP-on" during playback on this unit. To
cancel, set "BBE-MP-off."
O AF (Alternative Frequencies)/TA
(Traffic Announcement) button 9
To set AF and TA/TP in RDS; set TA in
DAB.

P ANNC (Announcement)/BTM button

To set DAB announcement setting (press);
start the BTM function (press and hold).
Q PTY (Programme Type) button 10, 12
To select PTY in RDS and DAB.
R Receptor for the card remote
commander

The following buttons on the card remote
commander have also different buttons/functions
from the unit.
wa < (.)/, (>) buttons
To control radio/DAB/CD, the same as
(SEEK) +/– on the unit. (For details of other
operations, see "With the card remote
commander" on each pages.)
ws M (+)/m (–) buttons
To control CD, the same as (3)/(4) –/+ on
the unit. (For details of other operations, see
"With the card remote commander" on each
pages.)
wd SCRL button 8, 11
To scroll the display item.
*1 When an optional Sony portable device is
connected.
*2 When an MP3/ATRAC CD is played.
Group cannot be selected with the card remote
commander.
Note
If the unit is turned off and the display disappears, it
cannot be operated with the card remote commander
unless (SOURCE) on the unit is pressed, or a disc is
inserted to activate the unit first.
