  • Page 9 If you read this guide book after reading the NX200 manual from beginning to end, you will likely master basic shooting theory and methods with the NX200 in only 4 hours with help from a professional instructor, or after 2-hour practice a day for over 8 days.

As a result, Samsung has redefined the status of the lens so that it is no longer manual and controlled by the camera body, but is at the heart of a perfect digital system.

    Revolutionary designs of the NX200 The design of the NX200 has a sharp, modern feel. The sharp edges on the top of the camera (achieved by a high tech forging technology) emphasize this feeling. The smooth curves on the grip and the metallic material set off the design of the NX200 in a perfect way.

  • Page 21 The NX200 has adopted a SW optimization technique called "Parallel Programming" which minimizes stand-by time for capture sequence. With the NX200, the shooting speed for full size photos has been significantly reduced from the previous 190msec to 90msec, realizing a continuous shooting speed of 7 frames per second.
  • Page 22 Focusing is an important element in the performance of digital cameras, and getting a good shot is often about how quickly they can focus accurately. The NX200 has an AF Lag of 100ms and a Shutter Lag of 70ms, totaling 170ms to focus and shoot.
  • Page 23 With other manufacturers' cameras, the ISO level can only be moved by 1 step, but in the NX200 the ISO level is adjusted by 1/3 of a step (100  125  160  200  250  320  400). As a result, you can use a very specific, but still high ISO setting with low noise.

This function provides 12 digital filter effects which are similar to the effects of the optical filters used in the days of film cameras, giving you the ability to take creative photos using a variety of different filters.
