Selecting
Settings
a scrollable list of settings that you can change:
Select this
To
Image quality
Choose the level of picture quality - High,
Normal, or Basic.
High
consume the most memory.
Basic
quality, but use far less memory so you can
store more of them.
Normal
of both quality, and memory consumption.
Flash
Enable or disable the LED flash.
Red eye
Enable or disable the red eye preflash feature.
This feature will produce one or more flashes
before a photo is taken to help reduce red eye.
Red eye
Specify the number of flashes used by the red
preflash
eye feature.
Default image
Set a base name that will automatically be
name
given to all new images, e.g. "Picture".
Subsequent pictures taken will be named
"Picture(01)", "Picture(02)", etc., until the base
name is changed. If you do not set a base
name, pictures will be given the base name
"Photo" by default.
Image store
Select whether you want to store photos in the
phone memory, or in a memory card, if you
have one.

Camera mode

When taking a picture, you can choose from three
different Camera modes, which define the size and
orientation of your photo. Use the left
joypad keys to switch between the different modes.

Note:
When viewing pictures taken in Large,
Medium
images will be scaled to fit the screen. This
means that they will appear less detailed than
when viewed on a higher resolution screen,
such as a personal computer.

Take a standard landscape picture, 640 x 480
pixels.
Take a medium sized landscape picture, 400 x
300 pixels.
Take a smaller, icon-sized, portrait picture (80 x
96 pixels) which can be added to a contact
card.
Take a small, medium or large picture, with 2x
zoom.
Take a picture when lighting conditions are
poor, and a longer exposure time is needed.
Picture size and orientation is the same as
Large
mode.
