Using new ringer tones for handsets

You can load other melodies than the selection already in the handset provided they
have the format "iMelody". Melodies are available on the Internet at
www.siemens.com/ringtones. Which data is available in your country is shown on the
Internet pages. Ask your service provider whether it supports the downloading of mel-
odies via SMS.
Once you have ordered the loading of melodies, you will receive one or more SMS mes-
sages (in the incoming message list, page 43) with the corresponding data.

You can load up to five new melodies. The new melody will replace one of the ten
melodies in the handset, namely melodies 6–10.
The screensaver replaces the idle state display (page 14), which may then conceal the
date, time and name. You can load only one screensaver.
Loading a new ringer tone or screensaver
You will now see You have new messages Û in the display.

Press the key to open the incoming messages list
(page 43). The first new SMS is now displayed.
Scroll to another text message if necessary.
Press the display key. You can tell from the title or
icon that you have been sent data for loading the
melody you selected. You will hear the new melody.
If you like the melody:
Press the display key to start the loading process.
Press the display key to load the new melody.
Select the number of the old ringer melody you want
to replace with the new one. As a precaution you will
hear the old ringer melody.
