Phone announces the caller's name
When you receive an external call, you hear the ringer and can also have the telephone
announces the caller's name.
Precondition: Calling Line Identification is active (page 19) and you have recorded a
voice pattern for the incoming number (page 26).

Deleting a voice pattern for an entry does not affect its number or name – they are
retained. This does not affect the voice patterns of the other users.

Confirm. You hear the current volume.

Scroll to the Announce line and activate/deactivate
name announcement.
Now press the display key to confirm the setting.
Long press (back to idle status).
Select the entry with ´.
Press the display key.
Long press (back to idle status).
Select an entry (highlighted with ´) and open the
menu.
Select the menu item and confirm. The entry is dis-

played without ´.
Long press (back to idle status).
Open the directory.
Select an entry and press the display key.
Select the user, e.g. User 2.
Now press the display key to start making the
changes.
Enter the new name and save it.
Long press (back to idle status).
