The luggage compartment cover
is not intended to secure heavy objects
in the event of an accident. For this
reason, heavy objects must be tied
down.
Danger of injury!
Do not transport any objects by
placing them on the mounted luggage
compartment cover. Vehicle occupants
could be injured by objects being
thrown around in the vehicle in the
event of:
Severe braking
A change of direction
An accident

serves to protect objects that are
stored in the car's luggage compart
ment from prying eyes.
