M e n u f u n c t i o n s

• Key in the number and press OK. Then select one of the following

number types and press Send:

Private

if the number is a TETRA network number.

Abbr. number

if the number is an abbreviated TETRA number.

Phone

if the number is a public telephone network number.

Office ext.

if the number is an office extension number.

• Search the number from the phone book. Press Search, select

Names, scroll to the desired number, press

when the phone number is displayed. If multiple numbers have

been stored for the name, first select the desired number and

then press

to send the message.

5. To send the message to a talk group, press

groups. Scroll to the desired group name and press Select.

Note: When sending messages via the SDS network service, your radio

may display the words

message has been sent by your radio. This is not an indication that the

message has been received at the intended destination. For more

details about SDS services, check with your service provider.

Sending a text message to multiple recipients

1. After you have written the message, press

options

and

Send to

many.

2. Scroll to the desired name in the list of names which is displayed and

press

to send the message. If you have saved multiple phone

numbers for the name, you also need to select the desired phone

number.

3. Select the next recipient and press OK. When you do not want to

send the message to any more recipients, press Done.
