Tips for writing text

You can also use the following keys to write text:
• To insert a space, press
• To move the cursor to the right or left, press
respectively.
• To delete a character to the left of the cursor, press Clear. Press and
hold Clear to delete the characters more quickly.
• To insert a special character when using traditional text input, press
or when using the predictive text input, press and hold
or press Options and select
Scroll through the list of characters and press

• To insert # more quickly, change to number mode by pressing and

• To insert a number while in letter mode, press
Insert number. Key in the numbers you want and press OK.
• To insert a name or a phone number by searching for it in the phone

select Insert word. Write the word using traditional text input and
press Save. The word is also added to the dictionary.
