Place the unit
•
Place this unit on a fl at, hard and stable
surface. Do not place this unit on a carpet.

Install this unit near the AC outlet where
the AC power plug can be easily reached.

Connect antenna or cable
To watch and record TV programmes, connect
this recorder to an antenna or a cable box/
satellite receiver.
Connect to an off-air antenna or
cable TV signals
To get TV reception, connect the recorder
directly to an off-air antenna or a cable TV
signal.

Unplug the existing antenna cable.

Connect the antenna cable to the
ANTENNA-IN
socket.

Connect the supplied RF antenna cable to
the TV OUT
socket and to the
antenna input on the TV.
Tip
•
The antenna input socket on your TV may be
labelled as ANT, ANTENNA IN or RF IN.
