Set TV system
Select the colour system that matches the
connected TV. This allows the DVD with a
different colour system on this recorder.

Press SETUP.

Select [ Video ] > [ TV System ], then
press OK.

Select an option and press OK.
[ AUTO ]
Automatically convert the video signal of a
DVD disc and play it in its own format.
This option is available only if the
recorder is connected to a HDMI TV.
[ NTSC ]
Select this if the connected TV has NTSC
colour system. It will convert the video
signal of a PAL disc and play it in NTSC
format.
[ PAL ]
Select this if the connected TV has PAL
colour system. It will convert the video
signal of a NTSC disc and play it in PAL
format.

To exit, press SETUP.
To cancel, press BACK.
Set HDMI video

Audio Settings

Set audio downmix
Select a suitable audio downmix when you are
playing a DVD recorded in Dolby Digital
format.

Press SETUP.

Select [ Audio ] > [ Downmix ], then
press OK.

Select an option and press OK.
[ LT/RT ]
Select this if the recorder is connected to a
Dolby Pro Logic decoder.
[ Stereo ]
Select this to downmix the multi-channel
audio signals to two channels which
delivers sound from only the two front
speakers.

To exit, press SETUP.
To cancel, press BACK.
