Synchronise, backup, and restore

Synchronisation and backup are two methods for making sure your data is stored in more than one location.
Data in your phone can be synchronised or backed up using the following services and apps.

Use the USB storage backup feature to backup the data, and then manually copy the contents of the [SD_PIM] folder in the

phone's USB storage to your computer. To restore the data, copy it from your computer back to the [SD_PIM] folder and then
use the USB storage backup feature to restore the data.

Email accounts that use the IMAP protocol can also be synchronised.

Manually copy the contents of the [DCIM] folder in the phone's USB storage to your computer.

Google's Play Store keeps a record of your previously purchased and downloaded apps. If you delete an app, you can download
it again.
Synchronising with your Google or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
account
You can synchronise information on your phone with information associated with your Google account or
your Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account. This allows you to make sure that the latest emails, contacts,
calendar events, and other information stored on your phone and other devices are up-to-date.
