PREFACE

This system is designed for an iris physical access system,
which identifies the person with one's iris data.

FEATURE

This system is composed of an iris camera, control unit,
and the administration PC (you need Administration
Software BM-ES500E, an additional system component). In
combination with electric locks, you can provide a com-
plete iris-enabled physical access system for a single door.
Notes:
• These operating instructions describe the details on the
control unit. Refer to the iris camera's operating instruc-
tions on how to identify people through iris cameras.
• To execute identification, you need to register iris data
in advance. (Refer to Administration Software BM-
ES500E Operating Instructions.) The control unit (BM-
ED500) enables you to register a person's iris data into
the iris camera (BM-ET500E) for subsequent recogni-
tion.
