Program/Random play

Press [PLAY MODE] while stopped.
Program and random playback screens appear
sequentially.
Every time you press the button:
Program -----------) Random -----------) Off (Normal play)

To exit the program and random mode
Press [PLAY MODE] several times while stopped.
≥Disable HighMAT disc play to use program and random
play. Select "Play as Data Disc" in "Other Menu"
(l page 21).
Program play (up to 32 items)
∫ When "CD MODE" is off
[DVD-V] [VCD] [CD] [WMA] [MP3] [JPEG] [MPEG4] [DivX]
You can program all the items on a disc.

[DVD-V] Press the numeric buttons to select the item.
([WMA] [MP3] [JPEG] [MPEG4] [DivX] Press [ENTER] to
register the selection.)
≥To select a 2-digit
number
e.g. 25: [S10] l [2] l [5]
[WMA] [MP3] [JPEG]
[MPEG4] [DivX]
[2] l [5] l [ENTER]
≥Repeat this step to
program other items.

Press [1, DVD/CD].
∫ When "CD MODE" is on (
[VCD] [CD] [WMA] [MP3]
You can program all the items on all the discs.

Press the numeric buttons ([1]j[5]) to select a disc.

Press the numeric buttons to select the items.
([WMA] [MP3] Press [ENTER] to register the selection.)

≥Repeat this step to program other items.

Press [1, DVD/CD].
To select an item using the cursor buttons
Press [ENTER] and [3, 4] to select an item, then press
[ENTER] again to register.
To change the selected program
1 Press [3, 4] to select an item.
2 Repeat above steps 1 and 2.
To clear the selected program
1 Press [3, 4] to select an item.
2 Press [CANCEL] (or press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select "Clear"
and press [ENTER]).
To clear the whole program
Select "Clear all" with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [ENTER].

The program is retained in memory unless one of the
following occurs:
– the current disc tray is opened
– another source is selected
– the unit is switched to standby
– "CD MODE" is turned on or off
– you manually select another disc (while "CD MODE" is off)
Random play

You can play all the items on a disc in random order.

You can play selected item(s) on a disc in random order.
