If you are already using Google, Facebook, Yahoo! and/or Exchange to
manage your calendar and contacts, then all you need to do to sync data to
your phone is set up one or more of these accounts on your phone. The data
syncs automatically.

Changes you make in your Yahoo! or Facebook account on the web show
up on your phone. There's nothing you have to do. Contacts and calendar events
you add or change on your phone, however, do not automatically update your

Download and install a third-party application (sold separately) that can
sync your desktop app to Google. Your desktop app syncs with your Google
account, and your phone also syncs with Google.

On your computer, set up an account on the Google website (go to
gmail.com).

on your Pre phone.

Enter the account credentials for your Google account.
NOTE
You don't have to go to Calendar to set up your account there – that's
done automatically using the username and password you enter in Contacts.
