Cleaning the Cover

Please read the label on the cover for washing instructions. The cover is machine-
washable.
DO NOT
tumble dry the cover — short spin and drip dry only.

Cleaning the harness, chest pads and seat

IMPORTANT –
DO NOT
take apart, or attempt to take apart, any of the harness when cleaning
the harness and seat. It is unnecessary and dangerous to do so.
DO NOT
use solvents, detergents or washing-up liquid as these may weaken
the harness and the seat.
DO NOT
lubricate or oil any part of the seat

Refitting the Cover

Refit the cover by reversing the above instructions, making sure that the chest pads
and shoulder straps are threaded through the same pair of slots in both the cover
and seat shell.
IMPORTANT –
that the metal tabs have been
threaded back through the slots in
the shell. Before attaching the
shoulder straps to the yoke, make
sure that the adjuster strap is not
twisted and that the thread colours
on the shoulder straps match those
on the adjuster strap.
Replacement Covers
The First Class Si, its cover, comfort pad and chest pads have been carefully
designed, manufactured and tested to high safety standards.
IMPORTANT –
it. Don't put your child's safety at risk by using other makes of replacement
covers, comfort pad or chest pads. They could stop the First Class Si from
protecting your child as well as it should. Replacement covers and a head support
are available from your Britax stockist.
