STEP 12 I CONNECT DRAIN LINE
FOLLOW ALL LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
Thedrain hose molded e nd willfit 5/8", 3/4" or1"diameter
connections ontheairgap, w aste teeordisposer. Cutonthe
marked l ine asrequired f oryour installation.

portion of hose
DRAIN LINE INSTALLATION
• Connect drain linetoair gap, w aste teeor disposer using
either previously determined method.
Method 1 - Air gap with waste tee or disposer

• if a longer d rain hose is required, addupto42" oflength for
a total o f10ft. tothefactory installed h ose. U se 5/8" or7/
8" inside diameter h ose anda coupler toconnect thetwo
hose ends. S ecure theconnection withhose clamps.

NOTE
:
TOTAL DRAIN HOSE L ENGTH MUST HOT EXCEED
10FEET FOR PROPER D RAIN OPERATION.

IF PLUG IS LEFT I H PLACE.

Avoid unnecessary service callcharges. Always b esure
disposer drain plug hasbeen removed before attaching dishwasher
drain hose tothedisposer.
