• Before the old drger is removed from service or
discarded, remove the drger door.
• Inspect the drger exhaust outlet and straighten
the outlet walls if theg are bent.
• Service information and the wiring diagram
are located in the control console.
• Do
not
allow children on or in the
appliance.
Close
supervision
of children is necessarg when
the
appliance
is used near children.
• Install the
drger
where the
temperature
is
above SO°F for satisfactorg operation
of the
drger control sgstem.

Install the clothesdrger according to these instructions and in accordancewith local
codes. Inthe absenceof local codes,installation must comptgwith NationalFuelGas
Code,ANSIZ225.1/NFPA 54or the CanadianNatural Gasand PropaneInstallationCode,
CSAB149.1.

to warn customers of potential exposureto such substances.Gasappliancescan

or LPfuels. Properlgadjusted drgers wilt minimizeincomplete combustion. Exposure
to these substancescan be minimizedfurther bg properlgventing the drger to the
outdoors.
This drger must be exhaustedto the outdoors.
Useonlg 4" rigid metal ducting for exhausting the clothesdrger to the outdoors.
DO NOTinstall a clothesdrger with flexible plastic ducting materials. Ifflexible metal
(semi-rigidor foit-tgpe)duct is installed,it must be ULlisted and installed inaccordance
with the instructions found in "ConnectingThe DrgerTo HouseVent"on page 6 of this
manual.Flexibleventing materialsare known to collapse,be easilg crushed,and trap
lint.Theseconditions wilt obstruct drger airflow and increasethe risk of fire.
Donot install or store this appliance in ang location where it could be exposedto water
and or weather.
Drgersinstalled in residentialgarages must be elevated 18" (46cm)above the floor.

Prepare the Area and Exhaust for Installation of
New Drger (see section 1).
Check and Insure the Existing External Exhaust
is Clean (see section 1) and Meets Attached
Installation Specifications (see section 6).
Step 4 Remove the Foam Shipping Pads (see section 1).
Step 5 Move the Drger to the Desired Location.
Step 6 Level Your Drger (see section 8).
Step 7 Connect the Gas Supplg (see section 3) and check
for leaks (see section 4).
Step 8 Connect the External Exhaust (see section 7).
Step 9 Connect the Power Supplg (see section 5).
Step 10 Check the Operation of the Power Supplg, Gas
Connections, and Venting.
Step 11 Place the Owners Manual and the Installation
Instructions in a Location Where Theg Will Be
Noticed Bg the Owner.
