INSTALLATION
. Installation MUST conform to the MANUFACTURED
HOME CONSTRUCTION& SAFETYSTANDARD,
TITLE 24, PART32-80 or, when such standard is not
applicable, with AMERICAN NATIONAL STANDARD FOR
MOBILE HOME, ANSl/NFPA NO. 501B.
. The appliance MUSTbe vented to the outdoors with
the termination securely fastened to the mobile home
structure.
. The vent MUST NOT be terminated beneath a mobile or
manufactured home.
. The vent duct material MUST BE METAL.
• KIT14-D346-33MUSTbe usedto attach the appliance
securelyto the structure.
• Thevent MUSTNOTbe connectedto any other duct, vent, or
chimney.
. Do not use sheet metal screws or other fastening
devices which extend into the interior of the exhaust
vent.
• Providean opening with a free area of at least 25 sq. in.or
introduction of outside air into the dryer room.
ALCOVE OR CLOSET INSTALLATION
. If your appliance is approved for installation in an
alcove or closet, it will be stated on a label on the
appliance back.
• The dryer MUSTbe vented to the outdoors.Seethe EXHAUST
INFORMATION section.
. Do not install this appliance with less than the minimum
clearances shown above.
• The closetshould be vented to the outdoors to prevent gas
pocketingin case of a gas leak in the supply line.
• No other fuel-burning applianceshall be installed in the same
closetwith the appliance.
CONSIDERATION MUST BE GIVEN TO PROVIDE
ADEQUATE CLEARANCES FOR INSTALLATION
AND SERVICE.
A CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THIS
APPLIANCEIN A CLOSETWITH A SOLID DOOR.

A minimum of 120 square inches of opening, equally
divided at top and bottom, is required. Air openings are
required to be unobstructed when a door is installed.
A Iouvered door with equivalent air openings for the
full length of the door is acceptable.
