High-Speed Data Throughput
Through major improvements to the hardware, software and firmware responsible
for processing print image data, the Epson STYLUS PRO 800 Series exhibits
significantly faster print times than previous models. In some cases, even with
high quality photo printing, print times have been reduced by almost 50 per cent.

Wider Print Head
Adding significantly to the Epson STYLUS PRO 800 Series' high speed capabilities
is a one-inch wide print head with a horizontal by vertical configuration of 180 x 8 ink
nozzles. In stark comparison to earlier models – with only 96 nozzles per colour – the
new print head has the ability to cover a greater printable area for each pass which
dramatically improves print speeds.
