News Key
Tapping the news key displays the News reader
application in the quick information area.
WARNING
• For safety reasons, do not perform any
operations while driving.
Doing so can take your mind off the road
and create the risk of a traffic accident.
Always stop your vehicle in a safe place
before operating the unit.

Displaying the News Screen

On the Home screen, tap
of the screen.
The quick information area shows the news
title and the time of the last update.
NOTE
• In the Car mode, tap [News] in the Home
screen quick information area to display the
news detail screen.
• The quick information area can show two
news items at a time in the Car mode.
• You also can display the news list screen by
tapping the [News] key on the Home screen.
• The information in the quick information area
of the Home screen is updated periodically
while the News application is running.

Weather Key
Tapping the weather key displays one day of
weather information for a specified location in
the quick information area.
The weather data is provided by The Weather
Channel Interactive, Inc.
