Creating an E-mail Message

Use the following procedure to create a new
mail message.

On the E-Mail screen toolbar, tap
This displays the new mail screen.

Tap [Send to] to enter the address and then
[Subject] to enter the title of the mail
message. Next, tap the body text input area
and then enter the body text of the mail
message.
The following describes the toolbar functions of
the new mail screen.
Sends the mail message.
Saves a draft of the mail message.
Specifies CC recipients.
Attaches a file to the mail message.
Deletes the file currently attached to the
mail message.
NOTE
Toolbar functions are the same as shown
above when replying to mail and when
forwarding mail.

Configuring General E-mail Client
Settings
You can use the e-mail client general settings
screen to configure send and receive settings

On the E-Mail screen toolbar, tap

Select the check box next to the item(s) you
want to enable and then tap
This applies the settings to all e-mail
clients.

enable regular automatic
checking for newly arrived
e-mail. You also can
specify how often, in
minutes, the automatic
check should be
performed.
Select this check box to
enable automatic
checking for new mail
whenever the E-Mail
application is started up.
Select this check box to
save sent mail messages
in the outbox.
