Washing Drum

The washing drum is made of high-quality stainless
steel. Rust deposits on the drum can occur due to
foreign bodies in the washing which can cause rust.
Attention! Do not clean the stainless steel drum with
acidic antiliming agents, scouring agents containing
chlorine or iron or steel wool. Our Customer Service
Department has suitable agents available.
Remove any rust deposits on the drum using a stain-
less steel cleaning agent.

Filling Door

Check regularly whether there are deposits or foreign
bodies in the rubber sleeve behind the filling door
and, if so, remove them.

Cleaning the drain pump

Paper clips, nails, etc. that might have got into the
washing machine with the washing, get left in the
drain pump housing. Fluff from clothes can build up
on such items and so block the drain pump.
Therefore clean the drain pump at least once a year.
Warning. Switch the washing machine off
1
and remove the plug from the mains before
cleaning the drain pump.
1. First of all carry out an emergency drain
(see the section "What to do, if.../ Emergency
Drain Procedure").
2. Place a cloth on the floor in front of the drain
pump cover. Residual water can run out.
3. Unscrew the drain pump cover anti-clockwise
and pull out.
4. Remove any foreign bodies such as clothes fluff
from the pump housing and the pump wheel.
