2 System features
Compared to the previous generation of PowerEdge R310, the R320 supports up to 100% more
processor cores, enterprise-class RAS features including memory sparing and memory mirroring,
100% more internal hard drives, innovative systems management delivered by iDRAC7 with Lifecycle
Controller, and has a Dell Fresh Air compliant configuarion available. Table 2 compares some of the
features of the R320 to its R310 predecessor. Table 3 lists all of the R320's specifications.
Comparison of PowerEdge systems
The R320 is the new generation PowerEdge server replacing the R310. Table 2 compares some of
