Probable Cause
•
Fuel valve may be off, spark plug may be fouled (excessive idling or running unit with choke engaged can
cause plugs to foul), or engine oil may be low.
Possible Remedy
•
Make sure fuel valve is on.
•
Replace spark plug and try to restart.
•
Check oil level with unit on level ground-Adding more oil or making sure the oil is completely full can help
to not alert the low oil sensor.
Engine will not start and does not turn over with electric starter.
Probable Cause
•
Shifter is not in neutral, battery may be low or
bad, key switch or its connections connectors m
Possible Solutions
•
Shifter must be in neutral
•
Turn key to on position and use recoil start
•
If this works recharge or replace the battery
•
Check neutral switch on transmission to make s
•
Check all connections to key switch (switch may be unplugged behind fire wall).
•
Key switch may be bad-switch must be changed out with new one
•
Have authorized Honda Service Center check the electric starter
