Installing the Bottom Heat Shield and Legs
Our stoves are quite

The bottom heatshield has been designed
to reduce the
degree of radiant heat to the area directly beneath the stove.

mounts between the legs using the 4 C-brackets
and wing nuts provided.
Bottom Heat Shield Installation
* Close the damper.
* For the Defiant, Vigilant, and Resolute, gently tilt the stove
forward until the top plate and ashlip are resting on the
floor. For the Intrepid, tip the stove onto it's back.
