BASIC OPERATION
■ Recording function
The transcever has a recordng functon that records the TX/RX
voce messages. When the specfic ID s receved, the automatc
recordng functon actvates and records the voce message for a
specfic tme perod.
Or, f the transcever has [Playback/Rec] assgned to t, manual re-
cordng s also avalable.
The maxmum record length s 480 sec., and the number of re-
cordable messages depend on the record length. Ask your dealer
for detals.
e.g. When the record length s 10 sec., 48 messages are recordable.
Automatic recording:
q When the specfic ID s receved, the recordng functon s auto-
matcally actvated.
• " " blnks.
w Whle pushng and holdng [PTT], speak nto the mcrophone at
a normal voce level.
• The TX voce message s recorded.
e Release [PTT] to receve.
• The RX voce message s recorded.
r The recordng operaton automatcally stops after the follow-
ng: the specfic tme has expred, the recordng memory s full,
pushng any key but [PTT], or transmttng a sngle tone.
• " " stops blnkng.
• Pushng [Playback/Rec] (f assgned) also stops recordng.
Manual recording:
q Push and hold [Playback/Rec] for 1 sec. to actvate the record-
ng functon.
• " " blnks.
w Whle pushng and holdng [PTT], speak nto the mcrophone at
a normal voce level.
• The TX voce message s recorded.
