Using AVerTV (available on selected models)
The digital TV (DTV) feature is available on selected models. Use AVerTV
6 to enjoy this feature.
With AVerTV 6, you can enjoy watching the digital TV, listening to the
digital radio, recording your favorite programs, and other features. For
example, the TimeShift function performs background recording of a TV
program. In this way, you can just watch from the part of the program
where you left off whenever needed.
The availability of the built-in TV Tuner card varies depending on your
purchased model. Make sure your Joybook contains TV Tuner card, and
you have connected the specific TV antenna provided with your Joybook
to the RF socket on your Joybook. For details about the RF socket, refer
to
"Rear view" on page
10.
Using your DTV with AVerTV 6 for the first time
When running AVerTV 6 for the first time, you need to scan for channels.
1. Launch AVerTV 6 from the desktop or the Start menu.
2. Click the Setup
button on the AVerTV control panel.
3. Select Programs on the left pane of the Setup screen.
4. Click Program Scan to search for available channels/programs in your
area.
5. When the scanning is finished, a list of available channels/programs
will be displayed on the screen.
6. Click Apply and OK to save the scanned channels.

Turns off the sound.
(8) Teletext
Turns Teletext on and off. This function is
only available when the TV channel is
broadcasting the Teletext data.
(9) EPG
Displays the EPG (Electronic Program
Guide) that contains channel and program
information.
(10) Always on
Makes the TV screen float over the top of
