When it is complete,

Depending on when the song information
is stored, information for the previous song
or the song after the current song may also
be stored.

The song information is transferred to your

p If the iPod is already connected, every time

Using advanced functions

Tuning in strong frequencies

Local seek tuning allows you to only tune into
those radio stations with sufficiently strong
signals for good reception.

1 Touch
2 Touch [Local].
3 Touch [On] to turn local seek tuning on.
# If you touch [Off], local seek tuning is turned
off.

There are four levels of sensitivity for FM and
two levels for AM:
FM: 1 2 3
AM: 1 2
p The FM 4 (AM 2 ) setting allows reception
of only the strongest stations, while lower
settings let you receive weaker stations.

Switching the seek mode

You can select the method of seek tuning.
on the "Digital Radio" screen.
1 Touch
2 Touch [Seek].
3 Touch [All] or [HD].
! All (default):
Seeks stations from both analog and digital
broadcasting.
! HD:
Seeks only from digital broadcasting.
p If you select HD while [Blending] is set to
Analog , the setting on [Blending] turns
to D/A Auto automatically.

Switching the reception mode

If reception of a digital broadcast becomes
poor, the tuner automatically switches to the
analog broadcast of the same frequency level
by default. If you want to avoid frequent auto-
matic switching, change this setting to [Ana-
log].

1 Touch
2 Touch [Blending].
3 Touch [Analog] or [D/A Auto].
! D/A Auto (default):
Automatically switches to the analog broad-
cast of the same frequency level as the digi-
tal broadcast.
! Analog:
Receives analog broadcasting only.
p If you select Analog on this setting while
[Seek] is set to HD , the setting on [Seek]
turns to All automatically.
