L W hen you have a problem during operation...
In o rder to help o ur technical suppo rt perso nnel to quickly find o ut w hat is the
pro blem o f yo ur mainbo ard and to give yo u the answ ers yo u need, befo re filling in
the technical suppo rt fo rm, eliminate any peripheral that is no t related to the
pro blem, and indicate o n the fo rm the key peripherals. Fax this fo rm to yo ur dealer
o r to the co mpany w here yo u bo ught the hardw are in o rder to benefit fro m o ur
technical suppo rt. (Y o u can refer to the examples given belo w .)

E xample 1: W ith a system including: mainbo ard (w ith C PU , D R AM , C O AST ...)
H D D , C D -R O M , FD D , V G A C AR D , M PE G C AR D , SC SI C AR D ,
SO U N D C AR D ..., after the system is assembled, if yo u canno t bo o t up,
check the key co mpo nents o f the system using the pro cedure described
belo w .
First remo ve all interface cards except the V G A card and try to rebo o t.
F If yo u still canno t bo o t up:
T ry installing ano ther brand/mo del V G A card and see if the system
w ill start. If it still do es no t start, no te the V G A card mo del,
mainbo ard mo del, B io s identificatio n number, C PU o n the
technical suppo rt fo rm (refer to main instructio ns), and describe the
pro blem in the pro blem descriptio n space pro vided.
F If yo u can bo o t up:
Insert back the interface cards yo u have remo ved o ne by o ne and
try to start the system each time yo u insert a card, until the system
do esn't start anymo re. Keep the V G A card and the interface card
that causes the pro blem inserted o n the mainbo ard, remo ve any
o ther card o r peripheral, and start again. If yo u still canno t start,
no te do w n the info rmatio n related to bo th cards in the Add o n
C ard space pro vided, and do n't fo rget to indicate the mainbo ard
mo del, versio n, B IO S identificatio n number, C PU (refer to main
instructio ns), and give a descriptio n o f the pro blem.
