The management file
cannot be created.
File which cannot be

Probable cause
The batteries are not loaded properly.
Battery power is getting low.
The power is off.

The recorder is in HOLD mode.
Low remaining memory.
The maximum number of files has
been reached.
The earphone is connected.
[Speaker] is set to [Off].
The volume level is set to [00].
Explanation
The file for management
cannot be created due
to a shortage of capacity
for remaining memory.
Incompatible format.
Attempting to split a file
besides the MP3 or PCM
files recorded in this
recorder.
Action
Verify that the batteries' polarities =
and - are correct (☞ P.10).
Charge the battery (For WS-760M,
WS-750M only) or replace with new
battery (☞ P.10, P.12).
Turn the power on (☞ P.15).
Charge the battery (For WS-760M,
WS-750M only) or replace with new
battery (☞ P.10, P.12).
Turn the power on (☞ P.15).
Release the recorder from HOLD
(☞ P.16).
Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.39).
Change to the another folder
(☞ P.22 to P.24).
Unplug the earphones to use the
internal speaker.
To play back using the built-in speaker,
