If you have external 38

same line as the
machine, choose the
maximum number of
rings.
If the call is a fax, 38
then your machine
will receive it;
however, if it is a
voice call the
machine will sound
the F/T ring (a fast
double-ring) for the
time you have set in
the F/T Ring Time
setting. If you hear
the F/T ring it means
that you have a voice
caller on the line.
