Using Google Maps

Google Maps offers useful information based on your region.
Make sure to connect the phone to a Wi-Fi or 3G network. If
you turn on the GPS function, you can obtain more accurate
information.
Searching places
1. Tap Maps from the applications menu. You can see your
current location on the map.
Note Make sure to connect to wireless networks or GPS satellites
by tapping Settings > Location & security and tapping either Use
wireless networks or Use GPS satellites.
2. Tap on the search box and type the keyword using the
virtual keyboard and tap

if you want to see the result list.

Zooming in and out of the map

Using Places

Finding places
1. Tap Places from the applications
menu.
2. Enter a keyword in the search box,
or tap Restaurants, Coffee, Bars,
Attractions, ATMs, Gas Stations, or
Explore Nearby.
3. Select and tap a place in the search
results.
Note If you want to sort the result by distance or ratings by
customers, tap Distance or Rating in the search results.
