Selecting a new driver
Clicking on the arrow found immediately to the right of the current driver name reveals a popup menu con-
taining a list of additional drivers to choose from. With this in mind, Windows users should choose an ASIO
(Audio Stream Input/Output) driver if available. If ASIO is not available and you are using Windows Vista
or Windows 7, you may notice at least one available WASAPI (Windows Audio Session API) driver. Regard-
less of which operating system you're using, you should select a driver that offers the lowest latency.
When selected, WASAPI offers comparable low-latency performance to ASIO, if an ASIO option is not available.
If you compare the following screenshot to the one shown above, you will notice that the amount of latency
is significantly less.

Windows Vista and Windows 7 users should refer to the documentation or the manufacture's web site for their audio inter-
face or sound card, to confirm that it is a WASAPI compatible device.
