Part II: System Commands
BYPASS A POINT? (COMMAND + 0)
Note:
If you prefer, you may use the Command
Menu in place of steps 2 and 3 to initiate this
function. Press the Menu> key to enter the
Command Menu, then press Next> repeatedly
until you reach the BYPASS A POINT ?>
prompt. Then press the BYPASS A POINT ?>
soft key.

The display shows:
If you know the point number you wish to
bypass, enter the number and press the Enter>
soft key or the ENTER button.
If you don't know the number of the point you
wish to bypass, you can view the list of devices
that can be bypassed by pressing the Next> soft
key.
Continuously pressing Next> scrolls through
these devices.
When the point text of the point you wish to bypass
appears,

press the Bypass>
soft key,
or the ENTER button.

One of the following messages displays (FRONT
DOOR is used here as an example):
FRONT DOOR is not bypassed indicates the point is
not bypassed and the option is given to bypass it.
If Bypass> is pressed, FRONT DOOR is bypassed is
displayed, indicating the point was successfully
bypassed.
FRONT DOOR is already bypassed indicates that the
point has already been bypassed.
FRONT DOOR cannot be bypassed indicates the
system is programmed not to allow that point to be
bypassed.
Invalid Point. Please try again indicates that the
device is not assigned to the area that you are in or an
invalid point was entered.
No additional points indicates that there are no
points remaining to be bypassed.
